皮特：我要回酒店，但我好像迷路了。

皮特：我住在NorthStar酒店，中文好像叫Beichen.

小明：我明白了。离这不远，我来告诉您怎么走。

皮特：太好了！

小明：我们现在在网球中心的T5场地，对吧？

Peter:Yes.

皮特：是的。

XiaoMing:Youneedtocrossthebridgeandturnrightatthesecondtrafficlight.Thenturnleftattheendofthisstreet.Thehotelis500-meteraheadontheright.

小明：您需要过这座桥，然后在第二个红绿灯右转，往前走到头再左转，走500米后，右手边就是北辰酒店。

Peter:Perfect.IthinkIknowhowtogetback.Thankyousomuch.

皮特：太好了！我想我应该可以找到了。非常感谢！

XiaoMing:Itismypleasure.

小明：不用谢。

1.外宾在表达“帮助我”时，除了常见的“helpme”之外，另一个较常见的表达为“domeafavor”，如“Couldyoudomeafavor?/Thankyoufordoingmethefavor.”

2.遇到问路时，我们常说“我来告诉您怎么到……”，英文常见句式为“Letmeshowyouhowtoget…”；也可以用“tell”来替代“show”。

3.具体给外宾指路时，我们常说“在第几个路口向左/右拐”，其常用的英文句式为“turnleft/rightatthe*trafficlight”。用红绿灯作为参照物，可能便于外宾更直观的理解。当然，也可以用类似“crossroad/crossing/intersection”来替换“trafficlight”。另一个常用的指路用语为“走x分钟就到了”，其英文常表述为“Youwillbethereina*-minutewalk.”
